Founded in 1994, the Puppet museum hosts a collection of over 800 ancient dolls, dating from 1800 to 1959. A visit to the Puppet museum will send you to the world of childhood with its gentle naivety and innocence. The visitor will observes notice the cultural changes and the development of the conception of beauty, through the changes in the models, the wearings dressing and physique of the dolls. The museum offers its younger visitors a “discovery game”; the children answer questions about the exhibited dolls with the help of their adult accompanies. Outside the museum, which is situated in the Marais, there is a picturesque garden where you can take a rest on one of the benches at the end of your visit.
