La Closerie des Lilas

Established in 1947, this bistro hosted welcomed many historic figures. In particular, it was the favorite hang-out of Hemingway, Fitzerald, Gertrude Stein Henry Miller and other artists and writers. The Closerie des Lilas in Montparnasse is a charming place to have a snack and a drink. While you are there, check out the copper plaques with the names of the different celebrities that “adopted” this spot over the years.
